Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Ashley has always had a passion for life. She spent her childhood dancing on stage, and found yoga during a rough post high school/college transition period. Yoga helped her reconnect with herself and analyze the direction her life was going. It was through her 200 hour teacher training that she fully began to accept herself, her path, and her place in the world. This awakening led her to the sleepy beach town of San Clemente, CA, a place she had always longed to live. Being at the beach, it was only natural to take her love of the ocean and yoga and begin practicing on a paddle board. Practicing yoga outdoors, with no mirrors or walls, underneath the sun, is her jam- having the option to jump (or fall!) in the water is an absolute bonus. She loved it so much she decided to become a certified SUP yoga teacher through Stoked Yogi. When she’s not paddling in Dana Point Harbor or out on the open ocean, you can find Ash eating lots of tacos, singing karaoke, walking the beach trail, working on her PhD in Holistic Nutrition, and enjoying life.
