Bio: Vanessa started her yoga journey over four years ago when a few classes turned into many classes per week, and then she enrolled in a 200-Hour YTT program in Tampa, FL. With a passion for dance, music and movement, yoga seemed to be a natural progression for her. Vanessa loves to share her practice with others, and has been teaching for over a year. Since becoming an RYT, she has also received certification in CPR, PaddleFit, and SUP yoga. Vanessa is also a full time Graphic Designer with a B.A. in Art from Rowan University. Combining all of her talents, she goes by The Creative Yogi on social media. Vanessa takes a very expressive and peaceful tone to her practice on land and on the water. Teaching SUP yoga will combine her love of being on the water with the calmness one can create in the mind.

What does being a Glide Yogi mean to you?
Being a Glide Yogi means I get to share my passion with even more people around the US. I’ve been accepting into another tribe with like souls that all share the same passions as myself.

I would have to say the O2 Retro Inflatable Paddle Board. I can practice yoga or take my friends and family out and it's versatility makes it the best Glide board.

Favorite Pose(s) for SUP Yoga?
Childs pose. Anything yin/restorative that allows the body to relax and connect breath with the fluidity of the water.
Best advice for beginner SUP Yoga:
You’re going to fall in. Just accept it, and know it's bound to happen. And it's 100% ok!
