Highlighted Features + Benefits

Cross-Woven Dropstitch Core

Most inflatable boards use knitted dropstitch and need very high PSI to feel rigid. The Retro’s woven core creates a stiffer, more stable feel at lower pressure, with less flex under your feet and better overall balance on the water.

Triple-Layer Reinforced Rails

The Retro combines a heat-welded inner rail with two reinforced outer glue bands for additional strength. This layered construction helps the seams better handle heat, pressure, and long-term use.

Rated to 25 PSI

The Retro feels rigid and stable at just 12–14 PSI, giving the board a large safety margin in hot weather as air pressure naturally expands. Many knitted boards operate much closer to their maximum pressure limits.

Lightweight Without Feeling Soft

At only 22 lbs, the Retro is easier to carry than many premium boards while still maintaining excellent rigidity and stability on the water.

Standard US Fin Box

The standard US fin box makes replacement and upgraded fins easy to find almost anywhere. No proprietary systems or hard-to-source parts down the road.

Kayak Conversion Included

Every Retro includes the Airthrone seat and kayak conversion paddle blade, so you can switch between standing and seated paddling right out of the box.
