Mako – Built for Big Water, Remote Water, and Everything in Between

The Glide Mako is a 12'6" inflatable fishing paddleboard built for serious anglers who need range, capacity, and complete control over their setup. It’s long, wide, and exceptionally stable—ideal for big water, hidden backchannels, and everything in between.

The Mako is pedal drive compatible for hands-free fishing and efficient movement on the water. Don’t have a drive installed? Use the included bait bucket in the open bay for live bait or extra storage. Add rods, crates, batteries—this board is ready to be rigged your way.

From saltwater coastlines to tight marsh channels, the Mako gives you space, confidence, and versatility—without needing a boat, trailer, or crew.

Why Anglers Choose the Mako:

  • Long & Stable Platform: 12'6" with a wide deck for smooth casting and solid footing.

  • Pedal Drive Compatible: Supports Glide’s pedal drive system (sold separately).

  • Includes Bait Bucket: Fits in the drive bay for live bait or wet storage.

  • Custom Rigging Points: Secure rods, coolers, crates, or anchor lines with ease.

  • Built for Range: Tracks straight, handles chop, and glides across distance.

  • 500 lb Capacity: Haul all the gear you need for full-day missions.

  • Extremely Packable: Inflates fast, rolls tight, and fits in your vehicle.

Highlighted Features + Benefits

Built for Bigger Water and Longer Paddles

Compared to the more nimble Angler, the Mako was designed for paddlers covering more distance, carrying more gear, and spending longer days on the water. The longer shape improves glide and tracking efficiency on larger lakes, bays, and open water while still maintaining excellent fishing stability.

Cross-Woven Dropstitch Core

Most inflatable boards use knitted dropstitch and need very high PSI to feel rigid. The Mako’s woven core creates a stiffer, more efficient platform at lower pressure with less flex under load and better performance on longer paddles.

Triple-Layer Reinforced Rails

The Mako combines a heat-welded inner rail with two reinforced outer glue bands for added durability. This layered construction helps the seams better handle heat, pressure, and years of heavy use.

Pedal Drive Compatible

The Mako was designed to work with Glide’s optional pedal drive system, allowing paddlers to cover more water efficiently while keeping their hands free for fishing.

Rated to 25 PSI

The Mako feels rigid and stable at normal paddling pressures, leaving more safety margin during hot summer conditions as internal air pressure naturally rises. Many knitted boards operate much closer to their maximum limits.

Built for Gear and Big Days

The extended platform, high weight capacity, and added storage space make the Mako ideal for coolers, tackle, camping gear, and full-day adventures without the board feeling crowded or overloaded.
